You have to be kidding me – online Public Speaking class!?!?!?

5 Dec

Public Speaking can’t be learned through a screen, it’s called public for a reason.  Don’t let these online courses fool you into thinking you can hide in your house and learn it late at night via a screen.  You need one on one or group work with an actual human being hence the word “Public”

Victoria College’s Workforce and Continuing Education Department is offering an online program that makes it easy to master the art of public speaking.

VC has partnered with ed2go to offer “Mastering Public Speaking.”

In this course, participants will learn how to speak confidently and persuasively to both large audiences and small groups. They will master the art of verbal and nonverbal communication, find out how to overcome their fear of public speaking, learn how to organize and deliver a short or long speech effectively, and practice techniques for communicating with ease and skill in any setting from a meeting to a job interview.
